| In vitro study | ML130 can selectively inhibit nod1-induced NF-κB activation in HEK293 cells without cytotoxicity and has been selected as a potential probe molecule. In the second experiment, ML130 was also shown to selectively inhibit nod1-dependent IL-8 secretion and nod1-dependent NF-κB activation pathway. Another study found that ML130 can cause conformational changes of NOD1 in vitro and its intracellular subcellular localization, this provides a chemical probe for studying the regulation mechanism of NOD1 activity and also provides a tool for studying the role of NOD1 in various infectious and inflammatory diseases. |
